Description

We are recruiting for Head of Marketing to lead all IANS marketing activities from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects.

You and your role

You will design and develop strategies for the Marketing teams, prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department, able to build and manage a team whilst setting, monitoring and reporting on team goals

We’re looking for someone who already has extensive experience in Marketing management and delivery. We need a doer as well as a thinker, someone that is not afraid to embrace both direction-setting strategic thinking as well as hands-on tasks.

As we move to make IANS financially self-supporting you’ll also need a strong track record of growing income and be a natural at starting and sustaining positive relationships, as well as building, developing and training an effective and efficient team.

Ultimately, you will manage IANS Marketing department in ways that will promote higher profitability and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement all Marketing strategies ensuring the right target audience is reached and Clients database are increased
Develop and oversee the implementation of Marketing policies
Oversee the development and implementation of brand guidelines
Prepare Marketing budgets and track marketing spending making necessary changes and modifications as required
Oversee all aspects of Public and Media relations
Recommend strategies to improve Marketing activities based on market research analysis
Lead the development of CRM strategies
Analyze clients/ customer behaviour and determine customer personas whilst identifying opportunities for new market entrants
Support the HR department to craft quarterly and annual hiring plans
Lead and oversee sales and marketing efforts to brand awareness
Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives
Stay informed and monitor competition (pricing changes, service delivery and new services and features)
Lead and oversee the communications, events, live shows, advertising and branding activities carried out within the company
Able to build, nurture and develop a team

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Skills

Work experience as Head of Marketing or VP of Marketing
Experience running successful marketing campaigns
Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Ad-words
Experience with CRM software
Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
Analytical mind
A team player with leadership skills
